Both incredible surfers, Christian Wach would would most times in a contest I think but is not necessarily the better surfer. In my opinion Knost is a far more creative, original and exciting logger, unbelievable to watch. Its hard to judge 'better' though particularly in loggin, it depends what you're into. I've met some longboarders who make fun of Knost's style but for my money Knost by a mile. I'd take surfing like either of them though.
Knost all the way. I like my loggin exciting, like a showground ride. Wach is incredible, but he's too good lookin and a bit boring!
